North Eastern Wisconsin Zoo

• Adventure Park - As well as animal exhibits, the zoo also contains (opened in 2014) an adventure park, a rope climbing challenge ("Aerial Adventure"), dual racing ziplines, and a 40 foot (12 meter) climbing wall with three different sides.
  
  
• Africa - Home to African animals including African lion, African pied crow, reticulated giraffe, and wattled crane. This section also houses the zoo's albino alligator even though it cam efrom the southern United States.
  
  
• Australia - home to animals native to Australia including cockatoo, dusky lorikeet, emu, and rainbow lorikeet. This exhibit also houses a few animals from other regions such as the blue duiker and snow leopard.
  
  
• Children's Petting Zoo - Contains African leopard tortoises, alpacas, chicken, fallow deer, goats, llamas, koi, red corn snakes, and sheep.
  
  
• Education Center - Home to reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, etc.
  
  
• Japanese Macaque Exhibit - Home to a troop of Japanese macaques.
  
  
• North American Aviary - This exhibits houses birds from the United States including American white pelican, bald eagle, and turkey vulture, as well as ten species of ducks.
  
  
• North American Plains - Home to animals found on the Great Plains of North America including American bison, black-tailed praire dogs, elk, and pronghorn antelope.
  
  
• Northern Trail - Home to black-footed ferret, cotton-top tamarin, and the moose. There are also birds including the black-necked still and the burrowing owl. Large tanks contain largemouth bass, northern pike, and yellow perch. In addition, the adjacent Riley Building houses American bullfrogs and green frogs.
  
  
• Penguin Exhibit - Home to African penguin and South African shelduck. There are two viewing areas, one of which is a bridge that overlooks the enclosure, and the other allows visitors to see the penguins swimming underwater.
  
  
• Tortoise Den - Home to a pair of Aldabra tortoises. This is an outdoor enclosure with a tortoise shell-shaped den.
  
  
• Wisconsin Trail - Home to native species from the surrounding country including American badger, American black bear, bobcat, Canada lynx, chukar partridge, cougar, helmeted guineafowl, red fox, red wolf, ruffed grouse, and white-tailed deer. This area also accommodates the zoo's red panda, even though these are not native to the area.
